The diameter of pores of membrane is a 0,0009 micron. Therefore the systems based on principle of reverse osmose have the highest degree of water treatment – 95−99% on all indexes.
A reverse osmosis allows to filter, roughly speaking, all, what only exists in water. The exception is made only by such shallow particles as ions of hydrogen and oxygen, which, actually, form water. Reverse-osmosed water can be drunk without boiling, as in it there are no viruses, microbes and the more so bacteria. The organic matters do not pass through the membrane of reverse-osmoses type, such how herbicides, pesticides, are trigalometans .
What is difference between reverse osmosis and an ordinary filters?
Ordinary filters delete only large components from water, such how sand, blight and etc, is The system of filtration on the basis of reverse osmose uses a semipermeable membrane which deletes a less than molecule from water of particle.
Widespread charts of water treatment:
The filters of the rough cleaning are deleting from water of silty deposits, sediment, blight, particles of scum, sand, water-plants, dirt, lees. Filtration of particles by a size from 1−30 microns.
Filters - defferization are intended mainly for deleting from water of iron and manganese.
